Review: The Longest Ride

Today,  I watched The Longest Ride and I almost cried three times. Also, there were way more Jews than expected. To refresh memories, here is what HBO has as the quick info and the trailer:

“While preparing for a job in New York, a college student falls for a champion bull rider attempting a comeback. But their budding affair is complicated by a fateful encounter with a nonagenarian, which changes their lives forever.”

For the record, I had to look up what nonagenarian meant. I’m sure every single person that watched this movie had to look up what it meant. (It’s someone who is 90-99 years old. Dumb. Just say old man or WWII vet or something.)

The movie is not terrible at all. Actually, I’m pleasantly surprised at how unterrible it was.
